August 18, 2016:
"Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to tell you how thankful I am for your Limmex watch.
My mother, who has one, had a stroke in the middle of the night and had the strength to call me.
I called for an ambulance and she was quickly taken to the hospital where the emergency responders worked miracles.

Limmex Emergency Watch wins the German Design Award 2015
October 29, 2014:
For over four years, a jury of design experts has been assessing products and honouring excellence in design both in Germany and abroad with the annual German Design Award. This year, the Limmex Emergency Watch wins in the category of Excellent Product Design: the Limmex Watch receives the Special Mention Award for exceptional design quality.
«It has been our aim from the very beginning to develop a product that doesn’t look like an emergency device you’d find in a hospital. Good design creates emotional products that people want to wear and enjoy using», explains Pascal Stübi, product designer at Limmex. He continues: «When designing Limmex Watches, we always make sure that their owners do not consider it to be a technical device. Instead, they see a classic watch».> More information on the German Design Award
New: Limmex Emergency Watches with GPS
October 15, 2014:
Receive help even quicker thanks to GPS positioning
Communicating with people in an emergency can be fraught with problems, e.g. disorientation. This costs valuable minutes and delays the arrival of rescue services. This is now a thing of the past thanks to the new GPS models from Limmex. The latest generation of integrated, high performance GPS models (A-GPS) enables Limmex wearers to quickly pinpoint their location via satellite when not in a building.
In an emergency the watch wearer can call a relative or emergency response centre at the touch of a button. At the same time the Limmex Watch automatically establishes a connection with satellites, which then transmit the location of the watch.
Course of action in an emergency situation
Positioning in an emergency situation is very simple. When a registered helper accepts an emergency call they also receive an SMS with a map link. When they open the map they can see the position of the Limmex Watch at the time of the most recent emergency call. The watch wearer can also send the link in advance via email to anybody they wish.
The location of the watch is only pinpointed when an emergency call is made. This firstly saves battery, meaning that the watch will be on the person’s arm rather than plugged in to a charger in the event of an emergency. Secondly, the watch wearer only transmits their location when they actually want to be found.
